One of the first things I wanted to do when I began playing around with AI image generation tools like MidJourney was to see if I could create comic books. I did not expect much after using the first generation of tools like Wambo and Craiyon. But MidJourney seems very adept at capturing the essence of the comic books I always was fond of. Brilliantly so, in fact. And while character creation is still an evolving artform/science, I am getting some results that I am very happy with.
You can see some of my work here which began for the first issue of the Stargazer series and continues to evolve as I learn more and make plans to continue the series and add new and different characters. I have only recently began to explore the strange alchemy of rendering two characters with one Prompt. And the results continue to get better.
